Yes, the topic is strange. At least the way it has been related. But do you know that resigning from a company has the same effect as a person’s death? Let’s evaluate.<\/p>\n

Qualities of Death :<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

a) The person who dies suddenly <\/span>becomes much greater than he was <\/span>in real life. Or considered much <\/span>worse than he was. Look around, <\/span>and you will see the most prominent <\/span>names in politics are either shown <\/span>as super great or super useless, <\/span>depending on which party the living <\/span>person belongs.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/6″][vc_single_image image=”7850″ img_size=”full”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]b) Death brings along with it a sense <\/span>of guilt to the living. Therefore they <\/span>overcompensate by glorifying the <\/span>deceased and crucifying those alive, <\/span>almost to the extent of blaming <\/span>them for the deceased\u2019s problems <\/span>and sometimes even calling them <\/span>the reason for his death. A famous <\/span>actor of Bollywood, who died last <\/span>year, is experiencing this currently. <\/span>None of his movies did as well, <\/span>and suddenly once he passed <\/span>away, supporters emerged from all <\/span>holes, enough that if today he were <\/span>alive, he would be bigger than any <\/span>superstar, but when alive, he wasn\u2019t <\/span>even a fraction of the greatness by <\/span>the same fans.<\/span><\/p>\n

c) Victim mentality plays out within <\/span>those living, and they start blaming <\/span>the living powerful for their sorrows <\/span>and empathizing with the dead. A <\/span>man was always unhappy with his <\/span>life and kept saying it’s better to <\/span>die than to live like this. Then god <\/span>heard him, and he died finally. But <\/span>the moment he died, he started <\/span>cribbing about the life of the dead. <\/span>Roaming here and there over <\/span>morgues, walking through doors <\/span>without feeling them, being invisible <\/span>to all living beings except their <\/span>brethren and dogs ( who can see <\/span>ghosts) So then god got confused <\/span>and again gave them a rebirth. Since <\/span>they came with so much misery, <\/span>they already had health issues the <\/span>moment they were born and caused <\/span>great stress to their family from birth <\/span>itself and again started cribbing <\/span>about life and its better to be dead, <\/span>so their cycle continued.<\/span><\/p>\n

d) Those who die always have reasons <\/span>like coronavirus, heart attack, grief, <\/span>stress, cancer, etc, but that is what <\/span>they focus on. What they forget are <\/span>the several years they even lived. <\/span>Death was just one moment, the rest <\/span>of it was life. The focus suddenly is <\/span>on the reasons for death. Till you <\/span>were alive, god was great. When you <\/span>die, god was mean.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now let’s see the similar qualities <\/span>when you resign or leave a company. <\/span>You can compare with similar points <\/span>above example a-a, b-b and can relate:<\/span><\/p>\n

a) The person who resigns suddenly <\/span>becomes greater than he was or <\/span>considered worse than he was. <\/span>The discussion revolves around <\/span>how good he was by the naysayers <\/span>within and how bad he was by the <\/span>bootlickers within. The reality is that <\/span>they existed with their good and bad <\/span>when they worked for the company, <\/span>and once they leave, the discussion <\/span>is polarised, but the person isn’t. So <\/span>futile to discuss.<\/span><\/p>\n

b) After you resign, you have a sense <\/span>of guilt, so you overcompensate it <\/span>by glorifying the new company you <\/span>join and crucifying the company you <\/span>left. I once heard on youtube from <\/span>the great investor Mr. Samir Arora <\/span>of Helios Capital that: Warren Buffet <\/span>decided to buy a company after <\/span>reading 50 balance sheets over 50 <\/span>years. This was regarded as a high <\/span>conviction by all. But if it was a high <\/span>conviction, why didn’t he buy it in the <\/span>49th year then. Why did he wait to <\/span>read the 50th and only then buy? It <\/span>is a case of no conviction since the <\/span>rejection was 49 times. Similarly, <\/span>if the new company you join is so <\/span>great and the old one was bad, then <\/span>why did you work for the old one for <\/span>all these years?<\/span><\/p>\n

c)\u00a0<\/span>A similar victim mentality plays out within the ones who are still working, who also are fed with the exiting employee’s negative pointers and their own anti-incumbency, and they start blaming in their hearts or private gossip- the management or boss for their grave sorrows and how they are enduring it with great pain. These people are similar to the dead than born, then dead, then born again type of livers.<\/p>\n

d) Those who resign have several <\/span>reasons like no growth, curtailment <\/span>of their power pursuits, feeling <\/span>worthless, primarily to hide their <\/span>shortcomings and lack of sincere <\/span>effort. So till they work and aren’t <\/span>questioned, the boss is god. And <\/span>when they are asked a little if they <\/span>go astray, the boss is the devil.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, friends, I hope you can read the overt and covert meaning of this article and walk on the path of true wisdom to reach a stage of neutrality where zero and infinity are the same, and you keep doing what’s required to be done without overthinking. Great leaders always follow this path!<\/p>\n
