Clark, New Jersey, June 18, 2012 – CaroTrans, a leading global NVOCC (non vessel operating common carrier) and ocean freight consolidator, today announced the opening of a new CaroTrans branch in Le Havre, France.\u00a0 This new hub office in Europe creates the foundation for future growth and supports CaroTrans\u2019 overall network of global operations.\u00a0 Container freight stations will be established in Paris and Lyon, France to serve local shippers with secure, expedited services.\u00a0\u00a0 For inland moves throughout France and Europe, CaroTrans provides a comprehensive, door-to-door distribution network for consistent, reliable deliveries.
<\/br>Le Havre is an important European gateway for CaroTrans\u2019 full container load (FCL) and less than container load (LCL) services to and from points in the U.S., Asia, Middle East, South America and Canada and is a natural platform for freight moving to West Africa from these regions.\u00a0 Initially, CaroTrans\u2019 Le Havre office will support FCL and LCL exports from the U.S. with exports from France to the U.S. soon to follow.
<\/br>The Le Havre office is the second new office for CaroTrans in 2012.\u00a0 A CaroTrans office was opened in Seattle last month to serve global freight forwarders in the Pacific Northwest.
