In this particular project, our team was tasked with the transportation of two oversized Gas Turbine Generators, weighing 70 MT and 55 MT respectively, along with accompanying accessories. The cargo was transported on 5 flat racks, making it a challenging yet crucial endeavour.
The scope of work for the project included providing a comprehensive Door-to-door solution from Europe to Abu Dhabi. This involved sourcing a suitable barge for the heavy lift parcels from the shipper’s factory in Europe to the port of loading in Genova. From there, the cargo was loaded onto a suitable vessel for onward sailing to the port of Abu Dhabi. Additionally, our responsibilities encompassed receiving the cargo from the barge at the port quayside in Europe, importing customs clearance, port handling, and transportation to the project site in Abu Dhabi.

Our team meticulously planned every aspect of the shipment, from sourcing the appropriate barge and transport in Europe to coordinating with vessel operators for loading.
